Madeleine Martin is a talented ballet dancer, voice actress, and veteran of the theater, all while still at a young age. One of her most memorable performances onstage was just after her seventh birthday, wherein she appeared in the Broadway National Tour of The Sound of Music with Richard Chamberlain. At the age of 10, she was lauded for her starring turn in A Day in the Death of Joe Egg, and she was later on invited to become the youngest presenter ever in the history of the Tony Awards. She also acted in The Pillowman alongside Jeff Goldblum and Billy Crudup.
Becca is portrayed by Madeleine Martin in Showtime’s upcoming television comedy series Californication. The twelve-year-old daughter of Hank and Karen, she’s borne witness to her parents’ breakup and her once-successful father’s slow descent into debauchery, and has grown wise beyond her years as a result. She also has to deal with the issues that plague many girls her age, such as parties, boys, drinking, and even sex. Despite all the ups and downs they face, Becca still remains the only one who truly understands and accepts her dad for who he is. And while the women in Hank’s life keep coming and going, he still firmly loves his daughter.
