Californication: Duchovny Checks Out of Rehab, Plus Preview of Tonight's Episode

After spending weeks in rehab, Californication star David Duchovny has checked out, ultimately completing his treatment for sex addiction.  As reported previously, the actor, who has been married to actress Tea Leoni since 1997, has voluntarily checked in to the treatment facility Meadows in Wickenburg, Arizona to begin a 35-day program, and at the time, asked for the respect and privacy for his wife and children as they deal with the situation as a family.

Unlike his novelist character Hank Moody, it seems that the Californication star has put his own struggle behind him.

"David has successfully completed his rehabilitation," Duchovny's lawyer, Larry Stein, told TVGuide.com in a statement.  "He is out of rehab and will be starting a movie soon."

Meanwhile, fans can catch Duchovny on Californication, airing tonight at 10pm on Showtime. Tonight's episode is entitled “No Way To Treat A Lady” and follows Hank on his first day as biographer to Lew Ashby.  He is re-introduced to the hooker with “a heart of gold,” who causes trouble by claiming that Hank is better in bed than Ashby.

Meanwhile, Karen and Sonja meet to talk about a renovation project but they get interrupted by Julian, who tries to work his guru charm on Karen.  Becca, on the other hand, reluctantly starts her first day at Mia's private school, where she meets an unexpected friend, Damien.  As for Charlie, he sets his eyes on one of Marcy's clients, a porn actress named Daisy, and later, unknowingly gets caught in the middle of an impromptu porn shoot.

Californication
stars David Duchovny as Hank Moody, Natascha McElhone as Karen Moody, Evan Handler as Charlie, Madeleine Martin as Becca Moody and Madeline Zima as Mia.

Guest starring on tonight's installment is none other than Judy Greer, whose credits include Miss Guided, Arrested Development, and Jawbreaker.
