Mark Valley was born on December 24, 1964 in Ogdenburg, New York. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and has served in Operation Desert Storm. He is best known for his role on the soap opera Days of Our Lives as Jack Deveraux. Presently, he is part of the TV show Boston Legal where he plays Brad Chase. Brad Chase is a former marine who was transferred from Crane, Poole & Schmidt to Washington, D.C. to help in containing the erratic behavior of Denny Crane.
