Bones: Preview of "The Con Man in the Meth Lab"

BonesFor starters, Fox just announced that it will be moving Bones to Thursday night 8pm starting January 15, meaning it will go against Smallville on the CW.  This is important since there have been shows in the past that suffered ratings-wise because some of its viewers didn't get to be informed of their new timeslot.

On the last episode of Bones, a corpse was found inside a crushed car that seemed eerily like those car sculptures made by an artist named Geoffrey Thorne.  We got to meet the very sensual and intelligent Roxie Lyon, Thorne's assistant, who admitted that the artist had been depressed lately.  As it turned out, Roxie is one of Angela's old friends.  After Booth asked her if she slept with Geoffrey, she said no and added a few more tidbits of info (like she was lesbian and Angela was her “muse”).

On tonight's episode of Bones, a body was uncovered during a practice police raid gone awry.  After the team identifies the body as the father of a struggling inventor who recently reunited with his son, a second body surfaces, leaving everyone confused.  Eventually, one of the inventor's inventions might be crucial in cracking this case.

Again, not a lot of people might be interested with the crime of the week because “The Con Man in the Meth Lab” (tonight's episode) is the long-anticipated one that will star Roswell alum Brendan Fehr as Booth's younger brother Jared.  As it turns out, Jared moves to DC to take a job at the Pentagon.  Fortunately or not (depending on which side are you in), Brennan is smitten with Jared and agrees to go on a date with him to a White House function.  There, she learns a lot of things about Booth's past and his motives.

Catch Bones tonight 8pm on Fox.
