It's been a long, dark December with no Bones to watch. The many-week hiatus has been especially hard, considering the last few scenes we saw before Bones left our televisions. Fortunately, there is a light at the end of this tunnel, and the first glimmerings are arriving, thanks to some new spoilers.

The "Ask Ausiello" blog is back, and it has returned with many, many spoilers. A few of those spoilers even refer to our favorite squints. Thanks to them, we can expect some totally non-crime-related excitement in store for 2011.

The first of the spoilers refers to the rumored proposal expected at some point in the near future. According to Ausiello, there will be not one but two proposals made on Bones.

Who will make up the lucky or unlucky couples? At this point, there is little more than speculation. Will Sweets and Daisy give it another go? Can we expect Booth to break our collective hearts just a little bit more with a proposal to Hannah? Wasn't Cam dating her daughter's doctor at some point?

Or maybe it will be a proposal from out of nowhere. That may be possible, since a source from Bones claimed that the proposals would "shake things up substantially."

The other new spoiler may make Brennan-Booth relationship fans much happier. Much speculation has surrounded Bones' Valentine's Day episode, and now Ausiello reveals that our beloved not-a-couple will spend the romantic day together. Not only that, but Brennan and Booth will be all on their own for the day. No squinterns, no colleagues, no Hannah.

That can't be anything but good. Still, Bones being the show that it is, the situation could easily be far from romantic. Maybe they'll be trapped by bad guys together. Or it could be some sort of dull, work situation with no one else around. The possibility of emotions is certainly there, but I'm not going to count on it until I see it.

This is all we've got right now. But it won't be too long (Jan. 20) before the show is back, so hopefully this is enough to tide us all over until more Bones arrives.
