Mike “Boogie” Malin became well-known as a participant on
Big Brother season 2 but drew more attention as the winner of
Big Brother: All-Stars, where he won $500,000. He was part of the infamous Chilltown alliance with
Will Kirby and he was the first contestant on the reality show to ever win “Head of the Household.”
Practically overnight, Malin escalated to fame, appearing in numerous commercials and landing guest appearances on television shows after his stint on
Big Brother. Some of his acting credits included
Yes, Dear, Jack and Jill, Abby, The Parkers,
Monk,
Hood of Horror and the
Reality Remix Awards, where he worked as a presenter. In addition, he was a contestant on the first episode of the game show
Street Smart and was the program’s first winner. He also became a member of the NBA Entertainment League, a celebrity basketball team, which earned him credit on Extra and Access Hollywood. His recognition after
Big Brother significantly helped in the success of his restaurant business, the Dolce Corporation, which he further expanded with business partner Will Kirby.
At present, Malin is preoccupied with managing his various restaurants, including "Dolce", "Geisha House" and "Les Deux," which caters to an extensive list of celebrities and A-list clientele. He is also busy with 8 new restaurants, 3 of which have just opened in Atlanta, Dallas and Huntsville.
