Wednesday Ratings for July 13: 'Big Brother' Sets Pace

Last night, Big Brother 13 had its Wednesday-episode premiere, and boy did it ever. Big Brother enjoyed its best ratings for a Wednesday premiere since 2003. This supplied some stiff competition for NBC's America's Got Talent and FOX's So You Think You Can Dance. Love in the Wild too saw a considerable drop.

Let's take a look at the numbers.

Last night's Wednesday premiere set Big Brother records. It was up 13% versus last year's Wednesday premiere, with 7.25 million viewers to its name. Big Brother is back, and in a big, big way.

Over at NBC, Minute to Win It was steady with 4.80 million viewers. America's Got Talent was down 22% versus last week, but still managed to come away with the most viewers of the night, with 11.01 million. Love in the Wild followed, down 11% versus last week, with 5.05 million viewers.

On FOX, So You Think You Can Dance took a considerable hit after its soaring ratings last week. Any chance it had to make up ground is going, going, gone, because Big Brother is here to stay for the summer. SYTYCD was down a whopping 25% versus last week's Wednesday episode, with just 5.41 million viewers.
