OK, you know it's getting bad in the Big Brother
house when they break out the crafts. Yes, Dick, Daniele and Jameka were painting and making little aquariums last night. That made Big Brother After Dark
such an exciting show. Yes, that was sarcasm. Actually that was the highlight of the show and that's bad. I think the first 30 minutes or so we were treated to Daniele silent at the kitchen table, Jameka silent in the hot tub ... you get the picture.
Even the conversations are getting boring. In between drilling for the next competition, they are bashing the other houseguests. Dick is still obsessing over Jen, and he's still as crude as ever. He's been such a disappointment to me. And just when I begin to rationalize his behavior as just strategy, he says something else that just sets me off. Daniele is almost as bad as her dad is when she doesn't get her way. What a pair ...

Dick and Daniele have a new target ... Zach. Actually, he's not a new target, just a regurgitated target. Zach decided to nominate Dick and Daniele for eviction. The light bulb finally came on that he would have virtually no chance at the final 2 if they were both still around. He and Jameka finally had the talk to clear the air over the early season misunderstanding and decided to work together to get Daniele out. Their plan was to put up Dick and Daniele, hope that neither of the Donatos wins the veto, and Jameka would then vote Daniele out.
When Zach made his nominations, that made him a major target of Dick and Daniele. I include her because the past couple of days, she's shown a nasty side. She's been egging her dad into making his outrageous outbursts. It's like when a kid tells his mean dog to sic someone. Late last night, Daniele was feeding Dick information from her talks with Zach (when she was pretending to be his friend) to use against him. At one point they were discussing what to say to ruin his reputation and get him fired from his job. I heard Big Brother
admonish them, too. I don't know how many times I've heard Dick call Zach a 'panty munching pervert' this morning alone.
Yes, I know it's strategy. That doesn't mean I have to like it. Yes, I know it's a fight for half a million dollars ... Dick has reminded the internet viewers of this numerous times in the last couple of days. Dick has relied on bully tactics to throw his competitors off, that's his modus operandi. I get it. I've read his tactics being compared to an athlete getting ready for a competition. But I think he goes too far. The filth he spews wouldn't come out of his mouth if it wasn't in his head in the first place. And when I hear that the Diary Room has warned him not to use the N-word ... Yes, he actually told Daniele this, so I'm going from what I heard him say. I admit that I don't know how he intended to use the word, but still ... there is no good way to use it.
You know, I would have loved to have seen Daniele play this game in about two or three years without her father. She's an awesome competitor, but her immaturity is what keeps me from throwing my full support to her. I cannot stand whining, just ask my kids, and this girl takes whining to a new low. It makes me crazy when she starts whining when she doesn't win. Then she eggs on her dad and uses him to be her enforcer. She's smart as a whip and is a very strategic player. With more maturity, more seasoning, she'd be my favorite, hands down.
The Power of Veto competition was held today. Zach is the only one guaranteed to be in the Final 3. The atmosphere in that house was so thick you could cut it with a knife. I don't know if it was strategic or not, but Zach was praying with Jameka in the HoH room while Dick and Daniele were bashing him downstairs. Ugh, I turned off the feeds. Guess who won .... yes, the Veto Queen won again. From what I've gathered, Dick lost by 1. For it to have been so important, Zach and Jameka did really badly. If it was a memory competition, I'm not surprised. I was watching them drill earlier and they were horrible.
Well, Zach took a risk and lost. If he really wanted Daniele out, he should have used the veto on Thursday. He waited too long to play his card. Jameka will be evicted by Daniele on Tuesday's live show and he'll have to put up with Dick's abuse until probably Thursday. He's been hiding out in the HoH room lately to keep from having to listen to Dick. After Tuesday, that option will probably not be available to him.
I don't want to count Zach out, but his chances aren't good to win the final competition. Zach seems to do well only in physical competitions. If this one runs true to form, part 1 will be endurance and Daniele will do well in it. One of the other parts will be memory/questions and she'll do well in that one, too. I can envision Daniele winning the first and third parts. She'll take her dad to the final two. Then it's a crap shoot. Daniele is the competition champ, but Dick has played harder and some may think that Dick did all the dirty work.
I don't know how I'll watch feeds for the next week and a half. I'm already sick of listening to Dick gloat. He is such a poor winner, no graciousness at all. And he didn't even win, his daughter did. The next few shows should be interesting, though. I really want to see the competitions that were blacked out. Tomorrow night they will show the Head of Household competition and nominations. Remember Tuesday is a live show. They will show the Power of Veto competition, then go live for the veto ceremony and eviction. The final HoH competition will probably begin that night, but I don't know if they will start it on the show or not. Then Thursday's live show will probably show the rest of, if not all of, the HoH competition and the eviction of the third place person. The finale is on Tuesday, September 18.
Good week and a half for TV viewers, probably a deadly time for feeds. Such is life at the end of a Big Brother
season. Until next time, catch y'all in the forums.
