Dan is the class clown in the MTV reality show
The Paper . The show features the daily grind involved in producing The Circuit, the multi-awarded newspaper of Cypress Bay High School in Weston, Florida. Dan is a staff writer who loves cracking jokes as much as he loves his job at The Circuit. This is obvious as he usually maintains his cool amidst the intense deadlines that come with producing a publication. He was initially apprehensive about having all of their lives filmed for the reality show, but now says he loves everything about it.
Dan has special plans this year for The Circuit. He wants to push through with a humor column in each issue to prove that comedy is a serious business. However, his efforts have so far gotten mixed reactions from the rest of the staff.
Dan hopes that his experience with The Circuit will help lay a solid groundwork for a future career in becoming a humor columnist. He had plans of going to Penn State but due to financial reasons, he says he had to choose a less expensive in-state college and perhaps just transfer to a better university later on.
