Big Brother 10: Fans vs. Favorites?

Rumors have swirled, as they always do.
Big Brother 10 is coming up in a couple of months and CBS has not come forward and announced what the theme or the big twist will be. We probably won't know for some time. That's why we have rumors. The latest one to gain some steam is that
Big Brother 10, in the wake of the success of
Survivor: Micronesia, will be a Fans vs. Favorites season. Ignoring the fact that
Big Brother can't pit only two groups against each other lest they alter the basic dynamics of the game, this theme seems unlikely, if only because
Big Brother All-Stars was only a couple years ago. Would
Big Brother and CBS go back to the well so quickly?
These are just rumors, speculation, probably nonsense. But, Big Brother would be the kind of show to go back to their reliable crop of fan favorite house guests. Big Brother 9 suffered from a lack of interesting and/or likable contestants. While the success of
Survivor: Fans vs. Favorites can directly be attributed to the quality of All-Stars chosen to return to the game, that concept was appealing because it directly pitted the fans versus the favorites. As I stated above, you can't do that in Big Brother.
That all being said, bring it on. I would love to see
Dick Donato again. I would love to see Dr. Will again (though I doubt he'd ever return to the Big Brother house). Fans of the series would probably be happy, because it'd be a nice mix – CBS would only have to find half as many newcomers of worth. However, a recent piece of news from RealityBBQ scares the bejeesus out of me. In a recent online chat, Big Brother 9's
Natalie had this to say when asked if she would be interested in doing a Big Brother All-Stars 2 if CBS contacted her: “Yes I would. I love bb and they already asked me so i might be going.”
NOOOOOO!
If this is where CBS is heading in terms of “favorites” they can count me out. Natalie is right up there with my least favorite Big Brother contestants of all-time. Regardless, Fans vs. Favorites is an interesting idea for Big Brother 10. What do you fans think about that? Discuss.
Is Big Brother: Fans vs. Favorites a good idea?
