The Theme of Beauty and the Beast Season 2: The show picks up three months from the finale. Season 1 was more arc-by-arc format, but season 2 will be more focused on ongoing arcs and several of them. There will be a lot of focus on relationships, but not just on Vincent and Catherine. Season 2 will be focused on the theme and question, "Who am I?" The executive producers are looking at Vincent: man or beast, Catherine: cop or friend. There will be a lot of focus on Catherine outside of the relationship, including more with the strong relationship with Tess. When it comes to Tess, it's difficult because she doesn't care about the beast, but she cares a lot about Cat.
What's Coming for Vincent: There are a lot of changes coming up for Vincent including a new look, dishes Jay Ryan. The executive producers continued that there will be a supercharged Vincent ahead. Plus, early on this season we'll find out more about Vincent's family.
Get Ready for More JT: Season 2 is JT's time. He will play an intricate part this season and we'll see a lot more of him. He's included in this season's theme of "Who am I?" JT is always there for Vincent, but why? Is there something we don't know about him? Plus, he and Cat will bond, being two people close to the beast.
Muirfield: Season 2 will explore exactly what Muirfield was. And the first episode will reveal who the mastermind is.
New Characters: The executive producers were pretty mum on the subject, simply saying there's a "cool guy" and a "cool girl." And what about more beasts? They didn't want to say either way, so we'll have to tune in to find out.
