'The Bad Girls Club' Set to Return on December 2
Earlier this year, we reported that Oxygen was recruiting a fresh new batch of self-proclaimed “bad girls” who will comprise the cast of the third season of The Bad Girls Club.  This week, the network announced that its highest-rated original series will be coming back on Tuesday, December 2 at 10pm.  This time, the show’s format has been extended from a half-hour show to a full hour-long episode, with 13 episodes to air through 2009.

The third season of The Bad Girls Club follows seven new bad girls as they move into a Los Angeles mansion, where they soon realize that their despicable behavior has hindered them from attaining success in several aspects of their lives such as relationships, careers, etc.  They admit they have issues with anger, trust and control and would like to get rid of these issues to move on with their lives.  How will this new batch of women deal with change?

"This season's cast is electrifying," said Amy Introcaso-Davis, Senior Vice President, Original Programming and Production, Oxygen Media.  "These gorgeous, high-spirited women are addictive to watch - they are sure to be the topic of conversation on cell phones and laptops everywhere."

The Bad Girls Club earned a solid fan base after debuting in 2006.  In fact, comedian Kathy Griffin admits that she’s a big fan of the show. Season two breakout cast member Tanisha, who is known for her signature expression, “pop off,” later appeared on The Tyra Banks Show, The Soup and Kathy Griffin’s My Life on the D-List.

As one of Oxygen’s most popular series, The Bad Girls Club garnered an average of 595,000 viewers in the 18-49 demographic during its second season run.  The show also made history by being the first Oxygen original series episode to break the one million-viewer mark.

Catch the return of The Bad Girls Club on Tuesday, December 2 at 10pm on Oxygen.
