Jennifer Rachel Landon was born on August 29, 1983 in Malibu, California. She got her first acting stint from her father Michael Landon, who was also an actor. He cast her to play a role in one of the final episodes of his television series, Highway to Heaven. She was only five years old when she did this acting stint. Years later, she was again cast by her father in the pilot of another one of his series, US. After high school, Jennifer Landon attended New York University. Shortly afterwards she was cast for a role in As the World Turns. By 2006 she won the Daytime Emmy award for Outstanding Younger Actress. Landon is also a recording artist and musician. She even appeared in As the World Turns as a lead singer for a female rock band.

Gwen Norbeck Munson is played by Jennifer Landon in the soap opera As the World Turns. Gwen was originally a poor, emancipated minor but grew to be a strong woman with a tough exterior. She was a waitress at a popular restaurant in town, and was deeply interested in Casey Hughes, even if the person she was being set up with was Will Munson. Gwen and Casey actually had a past together, and when Casey wanted to leave that behind, she revealed that she was pregnant with his child.

Cleo Babbitt is also played by Jennifer Landon in the soap opera As the World Turns. Cleo resembles Gwen Norbeck a lot, though she has dark brown hair and a gap-toothed smile. She was from Turlock, California where she left to start over in Oakdale. She was used by Jade Taylor to break up Gwen Norbeck and Will Munson, but eventually ventured out on her own and abandoned Jade's plans.
