We recently checked in to see how
Eva Pigford, who now goes by Eva Marcelle, was doing since her win of cycle 3 of
America's Next Top Model. She's recently shared a little more about her life after her victory on the show, and the ways in which her life is still very much about down-to-earth pursuits even while she pursues success in modeling and acting.
"My life has changed tremendously since winning
America's Next Top Model, I went from a college student to the cover of a makeup line,” she said. “But when I have to do my own make-up, I just even out my complexion with Black Opal and put on mascara. That's about it."
She also refuses to obsess about her weight despite the pressures of the industry. "I'm not a fitness nut!” she says. “I don't go to the gym. I just try to eat well and I keep active."
That said, she admits, "I can't resist the taste of Mexican food! I love beans and rice and enchiladas."
Some other favorites for the
America's Next Top Model's winner? She says she enjoys low-key pleasures and fun time with her loved ones and in the great outdoors: “I am a stay at home kind of girl. I enjoy cooking and entertaining for my family and friends. I've just taken up golf and I really enjoy playing."
But of course, there's still a little bit of the Eva Diva in there, although now it's more about the glamorous trappings than the attitude. She "And my first love is fashion. I love clothes and shoes. My fashion taste is really vintage. I love old clothes - things from the 30s that were flattering and sexy. Eventually I would like to establish my own clothing line."
