Looks like we're all going to have to wait an extra week to meet the Top Model hopefuls of Cycle 12. The CW announced yesterday that they have pushed back the premiere of America's Next Top Model from February 25 to Wednesday, March 4. We will be rewarded for our patient waiting however, the later premiere will be two-hours long instead of the previously planned one-hour debut.

The CW did not provide a reason for the delay of the beginning of Cycle 12, but we're trying to give them the benefit of the doubt that it's not just to torture us. We can't wait to see what this Cycle of 13 potential Top Models provides.

As previous seasons have taught us, there will be at least three cat-fights, one truly sob-story, at least one major drama queen, and a girl who gets drunk abroad and cheats on her significant other. Not to mention whatever insane photo-shoots Tyra and Co. have concocted for this batch of ANTM'ers. Previous death-defying America's Next Top Model shoots have included posing with a crocodile, doing a bikini shoot on a set entirely made of ice and snow, posing with a burning car in the middle of a desert, and last season's truly insane hanging from a balloon ladder in couture gowns. In our dreams, this season will involve a photo shoot with the girls jumping through a ring of fire with 7-inch stilettos on.

Unfortunately, we'll all have to wait another week to see what awaits Cycle 12's 13 Top Model contenders. Cycle 12 of America's Next Top Model premieres March 4 at 8pm on your local CW station.
