On tonight’s episode of America’s Next Top Model
, it’s time for the girls to find out what their signature poses are. They meet with Tyra Banks, who coaches each of them through 20 frames. For the first 10, they’re allowed to just experiment with poses on their own with minimal input from Tyra. Then, the girls are allowed to go to the monitor and see what they had been doing. The last 10 frames were seriously coached by Tyra and in the end, Marjorie won the photo challenge for her signature look, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. No, really!
For tonight’s photo challenge, the models meet up with Mr. Jay at the famous Orpheum Theater. He explains that , at awards shows, there are many unscripted moments that happen in front of the camera as well as behind the scenes. Tonight, they’ll have to act out embarrassing moments that are given to them by Mr. Jay himself. Marjorie poses in the bathroom, as a model who has to pee but can’t get out of her dress. Samantha stands at the podium, as a model who can’t read cue cards. Elina has to let go of control when she must act as an overdramatic actress who can’t stop crying.
Lauren Brie is an actress who trips heading up the stairs to accept her award. McKey portrays the star who does not win the award, but must act gracious because she’s on camera. Sheena teams up with Marjorie for her shoot as a starlet whose dress is stepped on while Joslyn teams up with Lauren Brie as a star who finds out another celebrity is wearing the exact same dress. Analeigh finishes things up as the entertainment reporter with an attitude.
At panel, Marjorie pulls off a double win this week, with the judges naming her photo the best of the week. Sheena and Lauren Brie land in the bottom two this week. Lauren Brie is gorgeous and high fashion but is lacking a personality like Sheena. Sheena has a great personality and inspires people but is not the most modelesque. Tyra decides to go with personality over looks and keeps Sheena in the competition for at least another week. Lauren Brie is sent home and Tyra tells her to work on being more relatable to people.
