Sharon Osbourne was born on October 9, 1952 and is English. She is known for being a musical manager and promoter, a major television personality and host/presenter. Sharon met Ozzy Osbourne, singer of the band Black Sabbath, when she was 17 and the two got married in Hawaii in July 4, 1982. Sharon was voted most amazing woman of 2003, amongst many others. She has three children named Aimee, Kelly and Jack. She began managing Ozzy's career in 1979, even before they got married and after he left the band to form a new one. Ozzfest was first celebrated in 1996 and continued from then on. Sharon created her own company, Sharon Osbourne Management, which was a fruit of her labor aside from the two recording companies she put up. She also co-stars in the reality series produced by MTV, The Osbournes featuring her family--Ozzy, Kelly and Jack. Her daughter, Kelly is also into singing and acting. Sharon has written her autobiography entitled Extreme and it was co-authored by Penelope Dening. It was published in 2005 and narrates the difficulties she had while growing up and her struggles with her husband, Ozzy. She was once beaten up by her husband who was at that time under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
Sharon Osbourne is one of the judges for
America's Got Talent, with Piers Morgan and David Hasselhoff. She recently replaced Brandy as a judge and will appear on the show on May 29th onwards. America's Got Talent showcases contestants dancing, singing, performing magic tricks, comedy and others.
