Born David Michael Hasselhoff on July 17, 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland, David Hasselhoff is most popular for his lead role in Baywatch. Singer actor Hasselhoff used to appear in
The Young and the Restless , Knight Rider and a children's program entitled Kids Incorporated. He has recorded three successful albums and was popularized in Baywatch where he also took on the task of being an executive producer of the show. In 1989 he married Pamela Bach and had two daughters with her. Sixteen years later he filed for divorce because of irreconcilable differences. In 2003 Hasselhoff again hit the headlines with an alleged drinking problem. He was placed in the Betty Ford Center for alcohol rehabilitation. A year later he was arrested for further alcohol use causing misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol. He was given the necessary orders by the court including participation in Alcoholics Anonymous. Hasselhoff's films include Revenge of the Cheerleaders, Witchery, The Big Tease, and Click.
David Hasselhoff is one of the judges for
America's Got Talent , alongside Piers Morgan and Sharon Osbourne, who recently replaced Brandy. The show is an amateur talent act search which features singers, dancers, magicians and comedians vying for a prize of a million dollars.
