Notice: this is a token mention, but at least we'll all have something to look forward to when we pass by the magazine stands in the coming weeks. Or, if you never considered buying
Rolling Stone, you might as well buy a copy soon.
American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert confirmed that, indeed, he will address those burning hot questions in an upcoming issue of the magazine. And it should be easy to spot: he's on the cover.
"Yes, they picked me!" he raved to reporters during the recently concluded Young Hollywood Awards, where he took home the Artist of the Year award. "It's pretty crazy. I never thought I would get anywhere near that. It's like, 'What?
Rolling Stone?' I don't even know what to say anymore."
Then he turns serious, in a separate interview. "At this point, I think everybody knows everything, but once the
Rolling Stone article comes out, people will know
everything," he said, referring to questions about his sexuality which were further fanned by photos of him partying with interior designer Drake LaBry. "I want people to know what's up. It's words coming out of my mouth!"
His intention, as always, is to finally focus on his debut album, which I think is already getting some mention on the press. (I was surprised to see it in, of all places, Newsweek.) "I think we can all move forward and look forward to the [debut] album together," he said.
And, for that, he's leaving
Wicked, the production which arguably catapulted him to his newfound fame. "I'll probably do a musical in the future," he said. "But I wanna focus on the album, music videos, public appearances, a really sick band, fire on stage... outfits!" He added that he's signed a record deal with RCA--but he's keeping mum on who his collaborators will be.
Would you buy Adam Lambert's debut album?
