The fourth season of FX's anthology series American Horror Story will be truly freaky, and now we have our first look at what craziness is in store.

American Horror Story: Freak Show is available on Amazon Prime.

Star Sarah Paulson, who has been with the show every season, tweeted that she will be playing conjoined twins Bette and Dot in American Horror Story: Freak Show. And to illustrate the point, she tweeted a photo rendering of what her two-headed character will look like. Clearly a lot of special effects will be involved in the performance.

American Horror Story: Freak Show will take place in Jupiter, Florida in the 1950s and follow one of the last remaining freak shows in the country. Jessica Lange will return as the German manager of the show, and the ensemble will include many other familiar faces to AHS fans, including Frances Conroy, Denis O'Hare, Emma Roberts, Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe and Jamie Brewer. Also returning are Kathy Bates and Evan Peters as a mother and son, with new cast member Michael Chiklis as Peters' dad.

The fourth season of American Horror Story will premiere in the fall, like all previous seasons. The show's third installment, Coven, received its highest ratings yet, averaging 4 million viewers (up 1.5 million from season 2).
