James Marsden is an actor and former Versace clothing model who was born on September 18, 1973 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The son of an animal studies professor, he has two brothers and two sisters. Marsden studied at Putnam City North High School in Oklahoma City, before going on to pursue higher learning at Oklahoma State University. During his college days, he was a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity, then later on began working as an actor. Among the television shows he has worked on are The Nanny, Party of Five, and Second Noah. Marsden has also acted in feature films such as Superman Returns, the X-Men movie franchise, and Hairspray.

Glenn Foy is portrayed by James Marsden in the Fox network's Emmy Award-winning television comedy series Ally McBeal.
