
After entertaining viewers with a shortened season of indelible characters and a gleeful satire of corporate media, the award-winning series
30 Rock wraps up its sophomore season tonight with the episode “Cooter.”

“Cooter,” the 15th installment of season 2, follows Jack (
Alec Baldwin) as he heads to Washington, D.C. to take on a new political post under President Bush. Unfortunately, the job doesn't meet his expectations. In attempt to get out of the situation, he enlists his ex-flame C.C. and government staffer Cooter to help him get fired.
Meanwhile, Liz (
Tina Fey) is gradually adjusting to life without Jack as a daily sounding board especially when she thinks that she's on the road to motherhood. But is there really a bun in Liz's oven? And does it involve Dennis, the “former” Subway Hero?
Kenneth (
Jack McBrayer), on the other hand, aspires to be a page at the Summer Olympics in Beijing. But as he prepares his personal essay for an application, Donny, the head page, gets in his way. Elsewhere, Tracy (
Tracy Morgan) puts the final touches on his invention that will be his legacy to his children.
Joining the cast of
30 Rock are Matthew Broderick,
Edie Falco, Dean Winters, and Paul Scheer.
Broderick, who appears as Cooter, is known for his roles in
Addicted to Love,
Ferris Bueller's Day Off and
The Cable Guy, just to name a few. Aside from his
30 Rock guest stint, this 46-year-old actor has several upcoming film projects, including
Margaret, Wonderful World and
The Tale of Despereaux.
Reprising her role as C.C. is Falco, who is known for playing a mob boss' wife on HBO's
The Sopranos. Also making their come back are Winters, who most recently appeared on
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and Scheer, who is credited for
Human Giant. They appear as Dennis and Donny respectively.
