Not that it was ever in doubt, but now it's official. AMC announced today that The Walking Dead will return to San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) on Friday, July 18 with a panel to discuss the upcoming season 4. They also released a new The Walking Dead season 4 poster.

SDCC may need to add an extra table or two on the stage to fit everyone that's coming from The Walking Dead. The panel is one of the largest announced yet.

The panelists include: Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, David Morrissey, Chad Coleman, Scott Wilson, Executive Producer and Showrunner Scott Gimple, Executive Producer Gale Anne Hurd, Executive Producer Robert Kirkman, Executive Producer David Alpert and Executive Producer and Special Effects Make-up Supervisor Greg Nicotero.

The Walking Dead season 4 poster is telling in the inclusion and placement of the characters. With Rick's new mindset, will he continue to be the leader of the group? And, it appears that Daryl will be fighting firmly by his side.

The addition of the Woodbury residents at the Prison will certainly shake things up. Do Tyreese and Michonne step up their roles? After flipping back and forth between locations, they definitely have the potential to help protect the Prison and the strength to be leaders.
