Born on November 25, 1965 in Overland Park, Kansas, John Lehr graduated from Northwestern University. Previously, he appeared on the television series
I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, Once & Again, and
Friends. He also graced the movie world with films like
The Sweetest Thing, Kicking and Screaming, Mr. Jealousy, and
Highball. In addition, he also ventured into writing and producing with shows like
Electronic Highway, News Weasels, Humanoid and
Monogamy American Style.
On the series
10 Items or Less, Lehr plays the lead character, Leslie Pool who is the manager of Greens and Grains grocery store. This slim and dorky character simply transforms the show into a powerhouse of laughs. He wittily entertains the viewers with his distinct and humorous approach in running his family business. Furthermore, his inclusion on the series gives him the opportunity to utilize his artistic drama and his hilarious acting expertise.
