After providing the voice of Elliot in Open Season and after starring next to Kevin Costner in the action-adventure movie The Guardian, Ashton Kutcher, television producer and creator of Punk'd and Beauty and the Geek, is reportedly returning to the silver screen, teaming up with Cameron Diaz in an upcoming comedy film entitled What Happens in Vegas.
Set in Sin City, What Happens in Vegas follows two people who discover they’ve gotten married following a night of wickedness, with one of them winning a big jackpot after playing the other’s quarter. Ashton Kutcher’s show, Punk’d, may be coming to an end soon but it doesn’t mean it’s the end for this 29-year old prankster actor. In fact, he will be venturing on a new show entitled The Real Wedding Crashers, together with Punk’d creators Jason Goldberg and Karey Burke.
While Punk’d features celebrities victimized by prankster antics, The Real Wedding Crashers features hidden cameras that will record improvisational actors who go undercover at actual weddings to incorporate humor and surprise to the conventional ceremony. Based on the movie The Wedding Crashers that featured actors Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson as philanderers who crashed weddings in order for them to hit on female guests, The Real Wedding Crashers will also be produced by New Line Television and Katalyst Films and will be broadcast on NBC.

After four years of prankster antics, Punk’d comes to an end. Unfortunately, this is not a practical joke. MTV already made public Monday that season eight of the celebrity trick series would be its last.
Punk’d, an American television series on MTV, is produced and hosted by Ashton Kutcher, actor popularly known for his inclusion on the series That 70’s Show. Since 2003, it “punk’d” celebrities like Jessica Alba, Tyra Banks, Adam Brody, Rachael Leigh Cook, Simon Cowell, Kirsten Dunst.

During the filming of season 3 of Punk'd on MTV, Ashton Kutcher and his gang attempted to punk baseball superstar Alex Rodriguez. The "punk" failed. Miserably. They got him while he dined with his wife at an upscale Los Angeles restaurant. One of the Punk'd actors, disguised as A-Rod's waiter, pretended to be a loudmouth Red Sox fan and constantly berated him, basically calling him out as a loser and saying he's never won anything in his life and never will.
