Biography

Terry McDermott is a member of Blake Shelton's team on The Voice season 3.

. Several years ago, McDermott and his band Driveblind moved from Scotland to the US to further their music career. He now explores making it as a solo artist by joining "The Voice". A soccer enthusiast, McDermott is currently based in New Orleans with his family.

Terry opened the Blind Auditions of the third season of the show and three of the wanted him on their team.Terry chose to be a part of Team Blake.

During the Battle Rounds, McDermott performed the Kansas song "Carry On Wayward Son", with country singer Casey Muessigmann and won.

Terry makes it to the top 10 singing "Summer of '69" by Bryan Adams and moves on to the top 8.

At the Top 6 Terry McDermott performed "I Want to Know What Love Is" by Foreigner as his choice song and "Stay with Me" by Rod Stewart as Blake's choice.

Terry McDermott performed "Let It Be" by The Beatles at the semifinals and advanced to the Top 3.

For some of his final performances Terry McDermott performed "Broken Wings" by Mr. Mister, and a duet with Blake Shelton, "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)" by Aerosmith.

Terry McDermott placed 2nd during the finale of The Voice season 3.
