Tereza’s early love of art and design can be attributed to her life growing up in a house designed by her mother and built by her father. Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tereza is described by many as one who has a contagious energy, but is also down to earth. She ac!$#!#ulated her inherent sense of design and creativity, using nature as her main inspiration. She has a passion for finding the perfect balance of color, texture and scale and describes her designing style as something like Modern Zen. Through this, she tries to manage the equilibrium between the organic and the modern in her work. Spending ten years of her career in Seattle, Washington has influenced her with Asian minimalism and the lush landscapes of the Northwest. Tereza has professionally worked for Margaret Appleton Design, the Terris Draheim Showroom and also Tom Kundig of Olsen, Sundberg, Kudig & Allen Architecture. She has furthermore designed a combination of commercial and residential projects, like a boutique hotel and many exterior landscapes. Running Keegan Designs, her own design firm, Tereza specializes in custom-made modern interiors and exteriors. Her trademark is the amusing bit of shimmer interwoven within the earth elements of her designs.
