Tamra Barney joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County during the third season via casting call launched by Bravo’s website. She immediately made waves by calling herself the "hottest housewife in Orange County" and even considered Jeana Keough as competition for being a more established realtor than she is. Moreover, she also often clashes with cast member Gretchen Rossi.
Tamra has a son, Ryan, from her first marriage, and has three children with her second husband Simon, who filed for divorce after the conclusion of season 5 claiming infidelity by Tamra.
At present, Tamra resides in a two-bedroom apartment where she struggles to adjust to her single life.
