Born Sean Rio Amir on July 14, 1989 in Los Angeles, Sean Flynn is the grandson of Hollywood screen legend Errol Flynn. Having a father as a movie producer enabled Sean to spend his childhood traveling extensively, going to places like London, Tel-Aviv and Ibiza. He started his career by appearing in a commercial shot in Hawaii. He soon started getting roles in shows such as Mad TV, and had stand-up gigs at the comedy club The Improv. He is now playing the male lead role in Nickelodeon's Zoey 101, as the ardent admirer of Zoey, played by
Jamie Lynn Spears .
Chase Matthews became Zoey's first male friend at Pacific Coast Academy. Little does she know that Chase is already sporting a huge crush on her. He showers brotherly affection for Zoey's little brother Dustin. Chase is the best friend and roommate of Michael Barrett, and they share their space with Logan Reese.

Sean started working early in his life on a commercial that needed a kid to leap from a high rock into water and to appear in frame of the camera on the surface of the water. This shoot in Hawaii went well, and so began the career of the young man, who is currently the male lead in, "Zoey 101" a Nickelodeon series, starring Jamie Lynn Spears.
Growing up in Los Angeles Sean has enjoyed the many outdoor activities from snowboarding at nearby Mammoth Mt. in the winter, to sailing to Catalina with friends in the summer. He has played tennis from the age of six and is very good. He also is a good swimmer and runs track and field.
