Sabrina Sloan Biography:

Sabrina Sloan is a 27-year old thespian from Studio City, California. Her first singing experience was on a table at a Chucky Cheese restaurant when she was just three years old. She studied under the music and theater program of Northwestern University and was part of a touring production of Hairspray. She auditioned in Minneapolis for season 6 of American Idol and became one of the Top 24 competing to be part of the Final 12. Her husband's presence at her auditions is what she considers her lucky charm. Her favorite judge is Simon, but she hopes that this will not change when she is the one being judged for her performance. Her favorite artists are Sting, Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston.

Sabrina Sloan made the final 16 on the sixth season of American Idol before she was eliminated  sooner than the judges and many fans had expected on March 8, 2007.  But the sting of defeat was shortly eased when she signed on a major-label record contract with Universal Motown for an album that will be produced by Peter Collins, whose credits include Bon Jovi and Rush.

After working on the CD, which also features American Idol season 6 contestant Sundance Head , Sabrina Sloan will start pursuing her solo album and her solo music career.
