Rhea Seehorn pursued acting at the advice of her late father, who told her to go after her dreams. Her father's words just before he passed away served as encouragement for Seehorn, who then took up acting classes and landed roles in film and in Broadway. From 1998 to 2001, she appeared in minor roles in movies like A Case Against Karen, Eat Me!, Why Spain? and Riders. In 2003, she joined the cast of I'm with Her as Cheri Young, a role that would open more opportunities in the small screen.
Seehorn then appeared as Nicole Walker on Head Cases and as Stephanie Vogler on The Singles Table. She also played the titular character in the feature film Eva Adams. At present, she is part of the comedy series Whitney, as well as Franklin & Bash.
