Peter Jason was born in Hollywood, California. He studied at Newport Harbor High School where he performed in his first play, The Man Who Came To Dinner, and also attended Orange Coast College. Furthermore, he went to Carnegie Institute of Technology to study drama. As an actor, he starred in several movies like Judd for the Defense, Gunsmoke and Red Magic to name a few. In addition, he appeared in more than 300 commercials. Ultimately, he became part of the television series Deadwood as Con Stapleton.
Con Stapleton is the card dealer at the Number 10 saloon. He secured a position as sheriff after Tom Nutall feared that the camp was "leaving him behind".
