Young audiences will probably remember Michael McMillian as the sweet and endearing Henry Gibson from What I Like About You, but he has since moved on to more mature and challenging television and film roles. McMillian, who is from Olathe, Kansas, has made quite a mark on the world of show business as an actor and a writer. He appeared on 8 Simple Rules and Big Love though his portrayal of Dorian Lagatos on the award-winning film Dorian Blues was what really gave him the opportunity to flaunt his versatility.

McMillian also joined the cast of the TNT drama, Saved. He played Harper Sims, a new EMT who is eager to please his very serious partner/mentor Angela. In 2008, he joined the cast of the acclaimed HBO series True Blood as Rev. Steve Newlin, the head of the anti-vampire congregation Fellowship of the Sun. He has since guest starred on The Whole Truth and CSI: NY.
