Actor Michael Gladis is known to be a graduate of the State University of New York, with seven years of theatrical experience under his belt. A member of Partial Comfort Productions, he has been seen on several stage plays. He worked with the Maverick Theater for the production of Trublinka, and is known for having roles in productions of Shakespeare’s works. He has acted in Much Ado About Nothing and Romeo & Juliet. He also had roles in the SOHO Playhouse’s Dog Sees God, before he worked with the South Coast Repertory in Princess Marjorie. He later got the lead role in the play The Importance of Being Orson, performed at the O’Neill Playwrights Center.
Gladis has also appeared on numerous television shows and films. He has been seen on historical thriller K-19: The Widowmaker in 2002, and got a role in Hack in 2003. At the same time, he had a recurring role in the series Third Watch, playing the character Eugene Rossi for about four episodes. The next year, he got a role in the short film Press Gang. He later worked with the NBC network and made an appearance in Law & Order: Criminal Intent in 2005. Soon, he joined the cast of the AMC series Mad Men, playing the character Paul, a young advertising man climbing the corporate ladder at Sterling Cooper advertising agency. He and the rest of the cast were nominated for were nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series in 2008.
Michael Gladis has also been seen on the EMT series Hope & Faith, before portraying the character Dean Gill on the NBC series Life. He has also made an appearance on the film Disgruntled, playing Roy in the Black Dog Productions movie.
