American actor Max Greenfield was born on Dobbs Ferry, New York. He was educated at Dobbs Ferry High School and later pursued an acting career. He gained fame for playing Leo D’Amato on the series Veronica Mars. He was also on Ugly Betty and the short-lived WB series Modern Men. He has appeared on several programs since he began his career. He was on Gilmore Girls, Greek, and Boston Public, as well as on The O.C. In 2010, he played the character Mr. Robbins on No Ordinary Family.
As for the big screen, Max Greenfield has been film on the indie film Cross Bronx. He was also on When Do We Eat, but continued to appear on television. He was on Undercovers, Lie to Me starring Tim Roth, Hot in Cleveland and Happy Endings. In 2011, he was cast as Schmidt in the FOX series New Girl, starring alongside Zooey Deschanel.
