Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Fuller Olsen are twins and American actresses born on June 13, 1986 in Sherman Oaks, California. While they appear to be identical twins, they have actually been reported as fraternal, and they typically appear together in films and on television. They began their acting career before they were one year old, appearing alternately as the youngest daughter Michelle in the television sitcom Full House. They later on went to market their image heavily as twin child stars, starting a clothing line and eventually getting ranked together on Forbes as among the richest women in the entertainment business. They have also appeared in numerous films, among them The Little Rascals, New York Minute, Holiday in the Sun, and Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. They almost always play twin girls, and have also starred in their own self-titled The Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley video series.
Michelle Tanner is portrayed by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in the classic television comedy series Full House. The youngest daughter of the Tanner family, she has been nicknamed Munchkin and Shortie by her family. She also has the wildest and most troublemaking personality of all the girls, mainly due to her father refraining from punishing her until she was older. Her main problem is her bad attitude, though she can also be well-behaved at certain times. Michelle is usually precocious, trying to impress others with her numerous catchphrases, and is very fond of cookies and ice cream.

-In June 2008 PETA called on its supporters to defend animal rights and send both Ashley and Mary-Kate hair clippings in protest to their wearing of fur.
-Ashley says that the weirdest "twin" question that she and Mary-Kate ever got was "Do you have the same birthday?"
-Ashley was said to be the fussier twin when she and Mary-Kate were babies on Full House and because Ashley cried so much throughout Season 1, her sister was forced to do most of the scenes.

-For the movie, The Wackness, 21-year-old Mary-Kate was required to passionately kiss 63-year-old Sir Ben Kingsley.
