American actress Lina Esco was born on May 14, 1985 in Miami, Florida. After living for 14 years in her hometown, she moved to France to pursue a modeling career, and then moved to London to work in theater. There, she took her first film role, appearing as a supporting character in the romantic film London.
She then moved to Los Angeles to pursue further acting opportunities. After a guest stint in CSI: NY, she took a regular role in the drama series Cane. She played the role of Katie Vega, the only daughter of Alex (Jimmy Smits) and Isabel Vega (Paola Turbay). In addition, she also snagged a second film role, playing a major character in the crime drama Kingshighway.
