Leann Slaby Biography:
Born on July 8, 1969 in Wausau, Wisconsin, Leann Slaby is a graduate of D.C. Everest High School in Schofield, Wisconsin. Before her acting career took off, Slaby was working as a model for both print and commercial ads in Milwaukee and Chicago. As an actress, Slaby can be seen in two independent films and numerous television commercials. She also sings lead for a local cover band and is employed at a small investment firm based in Milwaukee.
Slaby was a contestant on Survivor: Vanuatu, where she was initially a member of the all-female tribe, Yasur. Her confidence, intelligence and physical strength made her one of the leaders of the merged tribe, Alinta. Although she and her fellow tribe member, Ami
, were very strong competitors, their dominance in the tribe made the others resentful. After Ami won the fourth individual immunity challenge, Leann became an easy target for the others at the tribal council. Leann was the 12th contestant to be voted off the island.
