Biography

American actor and comedian Lamorne Morris started out his career by hosting several shows. The Chicago native was educated at the College of Dupage and The Second City Training Center. He was even a member of Second City's Outreach And Diversity Ensemble. His first television appearance was on BET, where he had his own tech and gaming show called HotWyred. He has been seen on several of the network’s series, skits, and even their daily music and entertainment news show.

Lamorne Morris also gained fame for hosting Cartoon Network’s BrainRush, in addition to appearing in numerous commercials. These include ads for Ford, McDonald’s, Edge Active Care, Twix, Taco Bell and more. He also booked roles in a number of independent films and shorts, such as April Fools (Code Black), the animated comedy Urban Group Squirrels, and One Word. In 2011, he gained attention for playing the character Winston in the FOX comedy New Girl.
