Kyle Kavanagh grew up in Dexter, Michigan. She graduated from Dexter High School in 2003 and went on to study at Washtenaw Community College. She stands at 5 feet, 11 inches, and before she was a Finalist on America's Next Top Model, Cycle 5, she was a Dairy Queen ice cream bar manager in her hometown. She is laid-back and enjoys the simple things that life has to offer. Aside from modeling, her other interests are working out, music, shopping, dancing and going to the beach. She also enjoys watching movies, and some of her favorites are Mean Girls, Crash, The Notebook, Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion, Napoleon Dynamite, Wedding Crashers and A Christmas Story. Kyle also likes to take the time to catch her favorite television shows, which include America's Next Top Model, Sex and the City, Emeril and Project Runway
As a Finalist, Kyle quickly became one of the favorites because of her warm personality and obvious beauty. Kyle and openly gay Top Model Finalist Kim Stolz
became good friends during the show, and it was no secret that Kim found Kyle to be the prettiest among the bunch. Kyle delivered very good photographs each week, but after the photo shoot for Ford Fusion, the judges felt that she was still not expressive enough. Kyle was the sixth contestant to be eliminated from the show.
Since her stint at America's Next Top Model, Kyle has gone on to pursue her modeling career, and has appeared on the cover of Real Detroit Weekly Magazine. In addition, Carolyn Ferrary Jewelry made Kyle their spokesmodel, and later moved to Los Angeles in the hopes of booking bigger modeling jobs.
