Kristin Booth is a Canadian actress born on August 28, 1974 in Kitchener, Ontario. Her love for the stage started when she was young, having been raised in Stratford, Ontario which is known as the home of the famous Stratford Shakespeare Festival. She studied theater at the Ryerson University, Toronto and graduated with honors in 1997. In 2001, Kristin Booth joined the Toronto’s Soulpepper Theatre Company, which produces classic plays.
Kristin Booth has appeared on numerous television shows, earning guest roles and starring roles all throughout. She began her career by playing the character Leslie Wilco on Exhibit A: Secrets of Forensic Science and got a role on the series Brimstone later on. Her next project became the TV movie Ice, released in 1998. She later got a recurring part in Traders, and has been seen on Daring & Grace: Teen Detectives, Crime in Connecticut: The Story of Alice Kelly and La Femme Nikita. In 2000, Booth got a role in the thriller Gossip film, starring James Marsden and Kate Hudson. After a string of TV roles, she was cast in the movie Foolproof with Ryan Reynolds, and on On the Line with *NSYNC’s Lance Bass and Joey Fatone. Booth was also played a recurring character on Paradise Falls, and was given a part in four episodes of ReGenesis. In 2005, she got the role of Olivia on the series Show Me Yours and worked on the TV miniseries Prairie Giant: The Tommy Douglas Story the next year. In 2007, Kristin Booth appeared in two Toronto International Film Festival hit movies, Young People F***ing, and This Beautiful City. She has also appeared in the CIA-inspired miniseries The Company and had a guest role in Supernatural. Booth later joined the cast of Soap Net’s Canadian drama series MVP, portraying the kind and sweet Connie Lewis on the show. She later starred in the Canadian animated series, Producing Parker, voicing the lead character.
