Biography

American actress Kelly Carlson was born on February 17, 1976 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She attended the Academy of Holy Angels in Richfield, and began working in theatre to jumpstart her career. Since she was four, she has expressed a fondness for equestrianism. Though known for her numerous appearances on films and television, she has also risen to fame as a model. Some of the ad campaigns she has appeared in include those for Miller Lite, Rembrandt, and Oliver Peoples sunglasses. She is also known for being listed on Tear Sheet Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful list, and for being in the pages of the August 2004 edition of Maxim magazine and on the cover of the October issue of Stuff Magazine.

Kelly Carlson’s theatre work has spanned a notable number of productions. She was seen in plays like Vanities, Cheaters, Girl’s Guide to Chaos, Charlottte’s Web and Can’t Trust the Mate. She first graced the big screen with a small role in the movie 3000 Miles to Graceland, starring Kurt Russell, Kevin Costner, Courteney Cox, Christian Slater and David Arquette. In 2003, she got her big break when she booked a guest role on the FX drama series Nip/Tuck. Her character, the easily manipulated Kimber Henry, later became popular with audiences and appeared even more during the first and second season of the show. Carlson quickly became a regular cast member, being billed as such during the third season. Some of her other work include roles in feature films, including Paparazzi and The Marine. She also had a part in the direct-to-video sequel, Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation. The actress also rose to fame for having guest performances in other series like Everwood, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and CSI: Miami. Her next project became the comedy film Made of Honor, starring Patrick Dempsey.
