Born on June 27, 1971 in London, England, Jo Frost is a nanny and author best known for the starring role on the reality series Supernanny. The daughter of an English father and a Gibraltar-born mother, she has amassed over 20 years in experience in child care. She has published books including Supernanny: How to Get the Best from Your children, Ask Supernanny: What Every Parent Wants to Know, and Jo Frost’s confident Baby Care. Her approach is centered on how to maintain authority vis-à-vis a safe and peace environment for the kids. Her "Naughty Step" and "Your behavior is very naughty!" became national catchphrases, and once got a rave in the House of Commons after discussing the prevention of the causes of anti-social behavior. Originally a British show, meanwhile, Supernanny debut in the US in 2005 to positive ratings. She has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Live with Regis & Kelly, The View, and Good Morning America. In 2010, Frost will take on theater, with a role in the London production of the musical Wicked.
