Jessica Iaccarino is one of the contestants appearing on the new reality television series, America’s Next Producer. Born on March 4, 1975, she hails from Huntington, Long Island in New York. Jessica studied at Long Island University, and says that what she loves most about being a producer is entertaining the masses with a well-told story, as well as letting her creativity run free. Her favorite genre to work on is docu-reality, and she recommends that every aspiring producer should train hard as an intern in order to get the proverbial foot through the door. Also, she states that the Internet is her favorite production tool.
However, Jessica also dislikes it when no one outside of the business understands or knows what she does as a producer. Yet she still remains proud of her work, such as The Truth: Bernie Segal, which aired on MTV2. Her recent favorite television shows are
American Idol ,
Lost , Intervention, and
Project Runway , while she also enjoyed the movie The Holiday. While she considers John Langley as an innovative producer, citing the success of his show Cops, she says that the top producer working today is Mark Burnett. She also dreams of working with P. Diddy, whom she calls ‘the ultimate mogul.’
