Giselle Fernandez Biography:

Born on May 15, 1961 in Mexico City, Mexico, Giselle Fernandez is a graduate of Sacramento State University. A year after she graduated, Fernandez was seen working as a television reporter for KRDO in Pueblo, Colorado. In 1985, she transferred to several television networks, namely KTLA in Los Angeles, WBBM in Chicago and WCIX in Miami. In 1991, she finally landed the position of national news reporter for CBS News, and from there has continued to enjoy great success in television. Her other television projects include guest-anchoring for the CBS Early Show, CBS Evening News, NBC Today, NBC Nightly News and hosting for Access Hollywood. For her accomplishments in the field of broadcasting and journalism, Fernandez has earned five Emmy Awards.

When Fernandez was invited to join the second season of the reality series, Dancing with the Stars, she jumped at the chance and trained eagerly with her dance partner, Jonathan Roberts . However, after only three weeks on the show, Fernandez and Roberts were eliminated from the competition.
