Dot Dot Dot is featured as one of the Top 12 bands in the Fox network’s competitive reality television series The Next Great American Band. It is a group that operates out of Chicago, Illinois, and has described itself as a blend of rock and power pop. Several of the band’s members are musical veterans from other previous groups. Among these are Adam Blair, $tephan and Michael of the Fabulous Janes; as well as Little Lisa and Rose from Catfight. They have performed at various events and venues such as festivals, weddings, clubs, and even corporate events. Dot Dot Dot has described its performing style as highly energetic and intense.
The band first released a sampler disc back in 2006 which featured the songs “Stay” and “Closest Thing.” In 2007, they came out with a full album of various pieces, also self-titled Dot Dot Dot. The songs for their self-named debut were “Another Stupid Love Song,” “Take That Away,” “Some Girls,” “Way Down,” “Want To Know,” and “Good Bye Love.” Their previous song “Stay” was also featured again on the new album. Dot Dot Dot continues to perform full-time on tour, having traveled and performed across the country at places such as Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana.
