Eleven-year-old Divad from Fayetteville, Georgia, is a fan of Oprah Winfrey and admires Amy Grant. An aspiring doctor, she would like to find a cure for cancer and reduce gangs in her home community by putting up various groups and Christian organizations. She believes that U.S.' best presidents are John F. Kennedy, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton. Divad thinks that the world's biggest problems are jobless people, expensive medical care and environmental abuse and destruction.
Divad is one of 40 kids aged 8 to 15 participating in CBS' Kid Nation, set in Bonanza City, New Mexico. There, the children are to govern their own little society while dealing with adult issues. Every episode, a child will be rewarded with a gold star worth $20,000.
