He appears to be a "geek chic" attested by his outfit, a light brown overcoat and a pair of Converse All Stars and glasses. He is considered to be light-hearted and easy-going but lonely deep down inside. In addition, he has developed romantic feelings for the character of Rose Tyler played by Billie Piper.
