Corey Reynolds began his acting career in 2006, when he moved out of his hometown and moved to California. Beginning on the stage, he was part of the national tours of Smokey Joe's Cafe and Saturday Night Fever. He later debuted on Broadway, appearing in the musical Hairspray, for which he earned nominations from the Tonys and the Drama Desks.
Reynolds made his screen debut through a recurring role on the CBS series The Guardian; in 2004, he made his film debut in The Terminal. He joined the TNT drama The Closer in 2005.
