At a young age, he followed his father's footsteps and began his career by modeling before he ventured into acting. In 1996, his family moved to Los Angeles, providing him with more opportunities to hone his acting skills. He began working on a recurring role in the TV series High Incident and as a guest star on ER . He also worked on minor roles in the films Soldier, Family Tree, Mystery Men and Galaxy Quest. In 2004, he finally landed the lead role in the film, Catch That Kid, which led him to accept a role in Flight 29 Down, a drama series. Two years later, Bleu landed a role in the highly successful made-for-TV film by Disney, High School Musical. He was then given his own film, Jump In!, where he starred opposite actress and singer Keke Palmer and his father.
Bleu's other television credits include a starring role on the series Flight 29 Down, and guest-starring roles on Hannah Montana, The Amanda Show, Cover Me and Malcolm & Eddie.
Aside from acting, Bleu is a prolific singer who released his solo album in 2007 titled Another Side, which included the carrier single, “Push It To the Limit.”
In 2008, he decided to reprise his role in the feature film installment of High School Musical, titled High School Musical 3: Senior Year. He has also appeared on the show Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, Mother Goose Parade and has signed on for a role in 2008’s Free Style. In 2009, he was cast as up-and-coming model Isaac Taylor in The CW's new drama The Beautiful Life.
